J. Wade Webb

J. Wade Webb is a mixed media artist.

His works range in both style and emotion, from the loneliness and disparity of his surreal works to the enthusiastic energy of his fantasy pieces. The only theme that pervades his work is that of the imagination--no matter how sublime or perverse.

Self taught, he had his first piece published in a state publication while in junior high school. In the early 1990's, he began work on independent comics, taking on lettering and coloring chores as needed, even supplying cover artwork for a couple of issues. Four of his collaborations have seen print in various national publications, including Wizard! magazine.

Taking a break from the comic world, he began creating design work for various companies, later emerging in 2005 with the first of his digital surreal pieces, showcased at the first Uncanny Inspirado. This lead into contributing designs and flyers for both Inspirado and the Evolution gallery (the web site design for both and the UE "hazard" logo were created by him).

J. Wade Webb is currently working on several projects, including both digital and traditional media.
